By using Revit to model residential projects, we can quickly produce rough visualizations that help answer questions not easily addressed with traditional 2D drafting techniques. This gallery demonstrates how BIM modeling enhances design coordination by reducing data conflicts across drawing sets, enabling efficient collaboration and the rapid visualization of design options throughout the development process.
Sunlight Simulation: Living Room Solar Path Analysis
Summer vs. Winter Solstice
In this video, we demonstrate the impact of sunlight on a living room during both the summer and winter solstices. Using Revit, we created two animated renderings that track the sun’s path, showing how sunlight enters the space at different times of the year. This side-by-side comparison allows our clients to visualize potential concerns about excessive sunlight in the summer while also understanding the benefits of winter sunlight.
